please tell me this is Eccremocarpus

    and not [​IMG] a weed!i set 9 of these from seed but only 2 germinated. one is in our front garden and this one is in a pot at allotment.two people today have told me to "pull that weed out!" ive compared the leaves to image on seed packet and they look alike but they`ve got me worried now. :eek:

    sorry elainefiz, this is a weed. ecremocarpus is a small leaved climber. :(

    Interesting plant - I'd be inclined to wait and see what happens when it flowers.

    Hornbeam,O/H just said,"Elaine, your lugs `ll set affire affore that flowers!" he has his own special way of talking to cheer me up. :D :D :D i wouldnt mind so much but id taken one to allotment,so folk were saying "mmm, whats that?" and id show them the packet cos i cant pronounce Eccremocarpus and say"its gonna look like that."i think im gonna have to chuck my spade away before i embarras myself AGAIN.

    It isn't Eccremocarpus but it is a flowering plant of some sort. You might get a nice surprise when it blooms.
