I watch it, but feel it is on less this winter than before. They now seem to work a similar timetable as the education system. Long breaks and really at the best times of the year. I'm looking forward to it's return. I'm grateful that i have satellite too!. I have to watch the english bbc2 channel, wales rarely covers it for a friday night. Infact any sport takes over the friday evenings. I'm enjoying the carol klein prog at the min too.

[IMG] Of course we watch it BG .It's good clean fun presented at a nice time ,just before the weekend,of course it's educational and presented well by good presenters,of course they can't please everybody all of the time but it gives another perspective and it's all about opinions they give theirs and we can take it or leave it.
Personally I thouroughly enjoy it. [IMG]

Aah !The great Geoff Hamilton,Yes I occasionally
watch it also.I watch as many Gardening programmes as possible,If I learn something new
from each one, which I usually do ,it adds to my some what limited knowledge, and as been worth watching.the presenters are secondary for me.
Sometimes I think it tends to get away from its original theme, but then most of the Gardening programmes seem to,perhaps its the modern trend.

I watch it. Its not perfect, but its about the only genuine gardening program there is. There are so many makeover programs which are about non-gardens for non-gardeners.

I confess to being a non-fan of gardeners world although sympathetic to the views expressed. Since it became 'personality' driven with Alan Tichmarsh and Monty I have gradually lost interest. I also have great difficulty in seeing how fast the plants seem to grow and how big. Most of my plants are certainly less vigorous than thhose seen on TV.

There used to be a programme on Sunday mornings called the Big Dig which was good as they went to peoples allotments and saw rael gardening done by real people, but Chanel4 decided to pull the plug on it,which was a shame...Going off topic slightly,a good programme which we like to watch is Countryfile with John Craven.Lots of countryside issues and it is especially nice when Ben Fogel is in it :D oh and they give out the weather forecast for the week ahead which is nice... I have always watched it, but can't take to Monty Don. I don't know what it is, but he just annoys me.
