shed windows

    hi has anybody got any advice please on an easy way to replace shed window frames? I have inherited an old shed on my lottie the frames are rotten and no glass in them.Any ideas would be most welcome.

    Hi there netty. If the frames are opening casements and you want them to work then a chippy is needed. If not,then thin timber strips called 'door stop'nailed to form a rebate,apply silicone,,glaze with Poly',more silicone then nail more timber for beading.

    Hello Netty
    I have just replaced 2 sides of my shed with Corotherm (polycarbonate ) . I used 10mm x 700 x 2400 long from B and Q approx �£12 a sheet. You will .also need the end strips to seal of the ends , the 10mm attachment caps and screws , and a couple of tubes of silicon - clear or brown - get this from a builders mechants , 1/2 the price of B n Q. It does a really nice job , its structurally strong and gives you a huge expanse of "glass"
