Good morning everyone. Joining this forum has been truly cathartic for me ââ?¬â?? at the beginning of January I was feeling really depressed with my garden. I felt I couldnââ?¬â?¢t cope; it was all too much; I was too old; I couldnââ?¬â?¢t face going out in all that sticky mud ââ?¬â?? in fact I was really miserable. But I have found by joining Gardeners Corner and talking to all you wonderful energetic people has restored my interest and enthusiasm. Thank goodness now I have got over my miseries I can get on and plan my vegetable plot for this year.

Not only are you all great gardeners, but you are also all clever computer wizards. I am especially impressed with Plotty. A beautiful allotment as well as a beautiful and informative blog. I must try harder at improving my computer skills and make my blog more interesting. But first of all I am going to go out and clean out my greenhouse and make it ready for spring.

Thank you everyone for your help and encouragement.

Hi Sylveen, January blues can be horrible, I think we all get a bit despondent especially this year when the days have been so dull and wet. But spring is around the corner and getting the greenhouse ready for the seed season will lift the spirits no end. Happy gardening [IMG]

I can't wait to get back out there either, January and February are terrible months and a lot of people get a bit down, me included.

Even if you just have a walk in your garden and have a look at your snowdrops and to check out your daffs and crocuses it gives you a glimmer of the joys to come.

And it's a chance to make plans and what changes to make ;) once Febs out of the way we'll be in our elemant.
