    You're so right, Elaine!

Youhave my sympathy with those slabs - I can't deal with them either - I get my big strong colleague to deal with them, but I'm afraid he's quite a long distance away from you, sorry...... Just keep up the gentle persuasion and flattery, and Mr Fiz will soon do it - or you could always threaten to nag

Those 3x2 slabs are not something for one person to try to move. Even 2x2's are too heavy for me nowadays [IMG]
Great Christmas card pic there Paladin
It is a pity that we can't add pics on this board unless they are already uplifted elsewhere
    Having said that .... [IMG]

I could blow some of our hot air your way, folks, to thaw you out a bit! [IMG]

Lovely pictures, though, I am enjoying them.

Mr,fiz has just informed me he`s made a blunder. The seat is as wide as the flags so he`ll have to turn them round.Otherwise we`ll still have to walk on the garden.More upheaval.Less garden.I think it`s a conspiracy.Today he says to me,"You know,it wouldn`t cost much to turf"!!!

Fit as a lop? Not an expression I've come across, Elaine - do you know what a lop is? A rabbit??

I wish I could send a pic of the garden, however, I believe that this site uses Photobucket and I use Flickr.com.
I don't think the site allows Flickr and as for Photobucket, everytime I finish the registration, I get an error message and my computer shuts me off from the internet. Very strange!

:D Dendrobium,As fit as a lop...as fit as a flea.Although I think given half a chance he would be as fit as a rabit.I was reading the kitchen garden the other day while he was talking to Mr,fiz.I asked him,how do you know when the soil is the right temp,Ronnie?Do you test it the old way and sit naked on the ground??
Is that how your gonna test it Elaine?
The next day he shouted over to me,So far i`ve got 16 to view!Sixteen to view what Ronnie?
Well you lass, when you come to test the soil. :D Mind you let me know in advance though.... :D :D

Thanks for that, I think, Elaine! :D Ronnie is a bit of a character,I'd say!

U2BG - how do you get the trailer in and out? And I presume you need the ramp for wheelchair access? That must be a bit limiting on what you can do....

Is that a corkscrew hazel you've got there? I can't make it out properly, but the shape looks about right!

Looks nice and private at the back - is that where you sit and read of an evening, enjoying the balmy evening air of West Lothian?

(BTW, I went near your area today, coming back from Lanark, used the 706 / 801.)
