What is the best way to dispose of dog faeces in the garden-apart from getting rid of the dog, which isn't about to happen!

I'm sure I saw something years ago called, believe it or not, a dog loo. Now how you get the dog to sit on,it I dont know.
It was like a bucket that you set in the ground, but it had no bottom but it had a lid. I think you had to buy certain chemicals which started a biodegradeable process.

Use a Fooking Shovel! Stick it in a bag, and bin it.

Dog Poo, I have two little dogs so do not have a BIG problem but I reverse a bag in my hand and bin it, those plastic nappy sacks are excellent always have couple in my pocket in the event of accidents whilst out. Rosietu

Encourage a mouse to occupy one of your larger patio pots. [IMG]

Had one of those dog loo biodegrade thingies you set it in the ground it does have a bottom in but slots part way up you put the chemicals in up to the slots then drop the excrement in ,it breaks down over the next few days and as you top it up with more stuff it leaches into the ground, works fine if you have a dog as big as a mouse but tends to get overwhelmed with anything bigger, you could do what the cats do bury it in someone elses garden. :D

We had one in our last garden, coped well with both a young labrador's then a terrier biased mongrel's (Battersea Special) output. The raspberry canes down-hill from the dog loo cropped a lot better too than those in our current garden !!!
Tried to install a dog loo in this garden, but the flints beat me.

Most folks I work with dogs for seem to lift a manhole cover usualy on the patio and drop the mess down with a half bucket of water to chase it away.

as per the previous reply, i too lift the man hole cover and all the doo doo's go down there. i'm sure you can get something similar to a can 'o' worms and dispose of it that way.
