Identification Please!

    Can anyone identify this plant please.I believe it was another freebie from a gardening catalogue and has been planted for 2 years..this is the first flower and loads of buds are emerging.
    Thanks folks for any info.

    It's a camelia, though. Somebody will probably be able to identify it further.

    What sheweevil means krafty is that the closing square bracket on the last [/img] is missing. So we can't see your picture.

    I thought camellia as well David but didn't want to put my oar in because not really my thing. And if a Donation is required - count me out. :D

    Looks a bit too dark to be "Donation", but I am only going on the basis of what mine is trying to look like!

    Thankyou people...your all a mine of information..it has done really well as I have not really taken care of it.and just left it to it's own devices...shame on me.
    Today,I have loads of blooms..nature is wonderful isn't it?

    Lucky you, having lots of blooms out! Mine are desperately trying to, but they're stuck. Just a bit of pink at the tips of the buds.
