I have one doing well in partial shade, and also a new one doing very well in sun
Remember, however, that 'full sun' in Ireland is seldom over 65F [IMG]

Semi shade is best DD and can cope with full on sun as the sun moves round the garden. They do less well in shade and sometimes get a bit leggy. Best planting position would be semi-shade in a reasonably protected spot.

Nice one Blackthorn that's my approach, followed by grow you Barstood! It can cope with most conditions, but if I was recommending an 'ideal' it would be protected semi shade :D
