I have taken a softwood cuttings from a hydranger and lavender. They are now happily growing on my bathroom windowsill. Could anyone tell me when can i take them outside?

Depends how long they have been rooting. If they are now quite established, then you can plant them now - after hardening them off close to a house wall first. But watch the overnight temperature. Or you could leave them where they are til spring?

    thank-you fran.

I took the hydranger cutting about 6 weeks ago and the lavender, 3 weeks ago. I will try hardening off the hydranger outside, with fingers crossed!
