Its the right decision Jimbo. Was worth a punt, but I was never that optimistic about grass under all my foliage. Once its down and the jungle canopy comes over, it will be the biggest room in the house [IMG] :D

I love this month, as it is the time that the new banana leaves make a bid for freedom through the roof of the banana house.

Bm I've made a start on mine, just laying a new path and give a new home to a palm.

Of to the garden show at the weekend hoping [IMG] to pick up some more jungle plants. [IMG]

It looks great bananaman! Except - confession time - I am not too sure about gunneras. Everything else looks wonderful though, especially the cuddly tree fern. Sort of looks like a wookie [IMG]

Cheers MF, I really can't believe its April. Looking out of the back door today I saw the fig is opening as well as the sorbus whitebeam.

I have plans for one of these too but I am waiting for my friends to sucker me one first.

Well I have been AWOL these last few days busy ripping up the garden and planning new things. The grass is nearly gone bar a skip delivery and the gravel will go down soon after. I have some new arid plants to go in and a couple of monsters waiting to go. I also bought another trachycarpus which cost exactly what I had from my nans who died last september.
