Hello....it is me again, bringer of dead plants!

I have a hydrangea that has been attacked by the frost, now I know that it is no good now but will it be ok next year?
If I should save it, what should I do to the withered plant? SHould I cut it right back?
It is quite simply just left outside to the elements at the moment.
    Please help me.
    Thanks, Blue Fingers.

    Hi Blue Fingers
Leave it as it is for the moment, cut it back to 2 or 3 strong buds in early spring (about March time is when I do it, in the Midlands) Don't worry over much about it, the withered looking bits will protect the crown,& provide hidey holes for good bugs.
    Hope this helps
