Out of hibernation

Although the weathers not that good I though it was time I dug a few things out that have been overwintering in the garage.
I started with the amarylis, (hippeastrum), they have become congested in their 12in pots, so I decided to repot.


This came out of one pot.
So I repotted the biggest



That left me with this lot, any ideas as to what to do with them


I also have a Musa Sikkimensis that has been left bone dry all winter, its started growing, so needed to come out,


Its in a 14in pot and needs planting out, which I intend doing in a month or so.
Its been growing roots all winter and pushing out the pot.

 

That's keeping you busy, I wish I had somewhere to plant out. How about planting the Amarylis around the Musa base, take their chances outside.

 

Must admit that has crossed my mind, plant them deep and mulch in the winter.

 

Well, what do you have to lose, Pete? You still have your back up plants in the pots.

 

Id have thought that the Siki would get through winter outside for you in Kent?

 

My Siki stays out all year it's in the ground with a bit of fleece around it, which will come off soon.
