I bought these stone rings when I first did the garden and I have never been overly keen on them, I added the split logs in the middle to try to make them nicer. After a while I realised I was losing a lot of space, I reckon the slabs cover about 6 - 8ft between them all, they had to go :-)

I had these old coping stones from a 4" wall, I chopped them in half and dug them in about 10" in the ground, popped a little concrete around them to keep the in place (just enough) and ran some grout round the outside where the lawn met them, I used a jug and funnel so as to keep any damage to the lawn to a minumum. I am really pleased with the outcome, it suits the setting of my garden

Now I have these leftover, anyone got any ideas?

I would advice folks to keep edgings small, these rings looked okay but stole a lot of garden.

    Looks good :gnthb:

Can you use the edgings vertically as decoration somewhere in the garden? They may look quite good behind a feature.

O.K though if you have a big garden. :)

Perhaps you could make a "frame" out of them and place a mirror behind. A bit like a window. It would also look like you have more space.

I'd use them as architectural features in a border, with a medium height plant growing around them. But that's just me :)
