    Wow, thats a good size plant daz, as Jaz says need to watch the late frost.

    Thanks guys.I think what im going to do is put it in a bigger pot then plant it in the pot in the ground.Not while the end of next month thou.Would this be ok banana man do you think?.Or do you think i should plant it out without a pot.Any advice guys i would appreciate it thank you verry much...daz

    I have mine in a large pot which comes in to the house in the winter. Take care if you plant it in the ground in a pot as it will root though to the earth beneath making it dificult to remove. I wont put mine out till Early May.

    Thats a good looking plant, as BM says if you plunge the pot it will root through the drainage holes.
    But looking at that plant, your going to need a crane to shift it in the autumn anyway. :D

    I don't recomend you do this, but I am going to plant mine in the footprint of my banana house this year to see how it gets on ;)

    Do you think i would be better to plant it.Also would it over winter with a fleece just like you would a basjoo?.Thanks guys.By the way the winter temp here usually never goes colder than about -4 ish..daz

    Wow now thats propper banana growing lol verry good my friend.I think ill keep it in a pot on the patio.So i can bring it in the house in winter.Thanks mate good advice as always...daz
