[IMG] Well here we are the beginning of a new month..!! Now I said I was making some changes this month so as to let you all have more time to take that photo you just have to enterto enter as the entries have dropped off a little recently...:D

:) Woo came 2nd last month so I have asked him to choose this months theme & in future if you win then you will be choosing the theme for the following month... So Woo has given it some thought for this month & come up with a great theme for the for this Comp..... :thmb:

    This months theme is..!!
    "
    Black & white or Sepia...!!
 I think Woo has left it up to us what we do & the subject...
    Quote:
Everyone should be able to come up with some great shots as these techniques can turn an average shot into a stunning one. They have that OLd Fashioned & Nostalgic feel to them..:gnthb:

:thmb: So come on everybody , I am sure there is something for all of us here maybe we will be able to try something new...!!

Enhancement is up to you, allot or not allot, that is your choice... Check the Guidelines if you haven't joined in before the comp is open to all members....!

:thmb: You are all so good at interpreting the themes in your own individual ways and get better at it all the time..!!! This really is a super theme. A chance to photograph & do something special
perhaps.!! So come on, go & see what you can find..!!

    Good Luck Everyone.. [IMG]

Can everyone please look at Guideline 6 before entering as there is a slight change. Just about everyone does it anyway I know. Allot of you have commented on how it helps when trying to make decisions on votes, if they are included. So we have made it part of the competition now to keep everything fair & square for everyone...!

A Competition for Enhanced Photographic Images.

For Photos taken within the given month, enhance/improved with the use of post picture processing software.

Reasons you may wish to enhance a photo could be to compensate for mistakes made when taking the photo, or indeed to change its atmosphere completely. For example reverting to black and white or maxing out the contrast for a really vibrant sunset.

To ensure we have common starting place for competing, a few ground rules have been established. These will ensure a common standard of submission and ensure photographs are comparable for voting at the end of the month

    Please follow the guidelines below:-

1.All entries to be submitted by 23.59Hrs on the last day of the month of the competition.
    2. You can enter up to three (3) pictures.
    3. Give your picture a title
    4. Post your photos within this thread for entry into the competition.
5.Photos have to be taken within the current competition month & year

    * "Competitors are advised that they should ensure that their camera's time and date function is set correctly as EXIF data attached to most images is available to moderators and other competitors. *

6.You CAN use software for enhancement or manipulation of a single original image . This may include submission of an image comprising multiple layers of the original image.
Any image deemed to be more than one single image of multi layers, will be deleted.. Mods decision is final.
6a Please include a small thumbnail of the original photo no more than 150 pixels & a short explanation of what modifications you have done...

    7. The winner will be decided by votes by the users of the forum.

    8. The winner of the competition gets to choose the theme for the next month's competition. This theme is to be kept a separate & different theme from the" Current Monthly Photo Comp" theme.

Please post discussion for this months pictures and about the competition HERE.

:thmb: The very best of luck to you all this month !!

(Am I allowed to enter? I've only just joined...)

    Title: Time to go

Does that work (if I need to resize it I will, I couldn't see a rule about image size).

BLack and white conversion in elements, levels adjustment, higlights adjustment, high pass filter.
