As anyone used these type of sonic cat scarer things I believe they do no harm to these lovely animals but I want to make sure before buying one :what:

I've never used them but I wouldn't have thought it would harm them, just give them a little fright is all.

I have two cats so I have no use for the scarers, but I do have friends who have, and are, using them.
Some of the sonic scarers work better that others on cats. They don't actually scare the cats but make being in the vicinity of the sonic emission very uncomfortable. Having said that I have seen some
cats not being affected while others have not liked the effect and disappeared!

After many years of trial and error, I've found that the only thing that really works is to grow lots of plants!

Cats want bare soil for their 'doings'. So making sure that almost every inch of your borders have plants in will keep them from soiling, and is also one of the best ways to keep your soil fertile and good condition.

My moggies know the rules and that their life expectancy will be cut short if they use the garden as a toilet and not the litter trays provided. If I do have any trouble I'll ask DaveW for the use of his shotgun!

 Nathan my friend has a couple of black looking ones & he reckons they work really well & he hardly gets any cat around now.. They must emit an unpleasant sound that they can hear so they keep away... I think anyway...
