Anyone else getting this message when trying to view the last page of a thread ? I got it on the second page of my winemaking thread and had to restart the 2nd page.

Now i'm getting it in the grumble thread too.

I've got it quite a few times on the Captions thread.

It's an awful nuisance as you then have go through the whole thread from the beginning, two pages at a time. Takes AGES ! !

It's not happening to me. Mind you I've switched to Firefox since the forum software changed, because I was continually getting the Run Time Error and Stack Overflow error every time I used the 'back' button on Internet Explorer.

It happens when the posts on the first page reach a certain extent that it causes a 'ghost' 2nd page to be created, that doesn't exist and has nothing on it, and trying to access the 2nd page results in that error message.

When a further post is made, and there is really is something that requires a 2nd page it will becomes accessible and it can be seen that there wasn't anything over the page in the first place.

I had noticed this too, it's a bit odd behaviour from the new forum software, I wonder if this is causing the errors Ziggy & kindred are getting.

I'll take a look at this over the next couple of days people,.

I am thinking it may be a 're-index' that may be required, but need to have a look behind the scenes.

    This is happening again tonight.

On "Captions" thread, it shows last page as No. 41 but on clicking on it "page does not exist" comes up.

I haven't time to go through the whole thread, 2 pages at a time to reach page 40 and see what "Music" has posted.

I see the same message only i get it on every page !

It's there at the top of each and every page - i just ignore it as the rest of the text is fine.

However, i have the site as my homepage and the same message is there then when i come on, and then there's no text at all, just the top header so i have to click on that to get 'in' further.

Can't get into the Captions Thread this morning.

It says "thread does not exist" ! ! !

(Page 43 "does not exist, I presume.)

And it takes too long to start at Page One and go forward two pages at a time.
