    I have a well established Skimmia Japonica "Rubella" that is about 1 metre high and 1 metre in dia but is looking a bit tatty.
    Is it OK to prune it back? and if so by how much.

    Hmm! surprised no one has answered that. :scratch: The general advice is to prune everything just after it has flowered to whatever height you want. Hopefully, loads of members who actualy know what they're talking about will now jump and tell you the correct method. Failing that, "Google" the plant and you'll get all the info. you need.:WINK1:
