Hi everyone! Ive just registered today, posted a couple of times and thought that I should be polite and introduce myself before I start asking too many questions! :)

I have used this website as a source of information for a few weeks now and everyone here seems genuinely nice, so I signed up!

Im 25 and have been gardening self employed for around 6 years but only doing the mundane maintenance tasks (grass cutting, hedge clipping etc) Last year me and my family moved into a new house and now have a small garden of our own. A couple of plastic greenhouses and harsh lessons later, I took the plunge and got myself a lovely 6x6 greenhouse, so this year, fingers crossed, I might be dabbling in some far more interesting things.

Glad to be part of a group who share my passion for gardening!

    - Luke -

Ive just read through this years challenge. Its very much a coincidence that my partner has metioned growing these just last month. We are still trying to decide a suitable place to grow these beasts, though more than likely, we will only have the space for 1, maybe 2 as I already have everywhere else in our limited sized garden marked for bedding and veg! (all from seed of course :WINK1:)

Still, you only need 1 ticket to win the lottery :dbgrtmb:

    Thanks for the warm welcome!

    Hello and welcome luke :)

It would be great if joined the Walking Stick Cabbage competition, it's only a bit of fun and we will learn from each other. Drop me a PM and I can send you some seeds.
