    Herb
You dont say what the size of the sack is.?
I use the sacks and would not put more than three in each
Seems the more you plant the smaller size pots you get.
I also use a full size plastec dust bin that I will plant five in.

I would stick to three with that size. But thats my personnel preference.
If its any help then please check out my U tube videos. They seem to be getting quite popular.
Hope they help in your choice.
The harvest in this video was a little disapointing,
I really hope for better this year.

    Hi herb,

I tried this last year, and I used 2 seed potatoes, however, I think you could easily get away with 3.
Got a pretty good crop which was a nice suprise, you cant beat potato harvest time!

That is one TALL planter! :heehee: :thumb:

Best of luck with your taters

What I found odd was last year I ordered one and got 5 seed potatoes as well although it says 3 per bag

Me too. Some years ago I bought a "kit" (3 bags and 3 different types of spuds I think). Far more spuds than were needed - clearly they had just included a bog-standard bag of seed tubers with the kit, rather than actually bothering to make something that "did what it said on the tin". People who planted the lot will have been disappointed, and the rest will probably have been annoyed to waste some seed potatoes.
