Recently back from Australia and a great day at the Final Test Match in Sydney - very
exciting, Unfortunately I never saw a kangaroo despite travelling about 700 miles by
car. We did however see the koala bears on a small island near Bairnsdale -quite
    wonderful.

Long flights can be a bit tiring but it is a relatively comfortable experience so I hope
Sheal will enjoy the adventures ahead.

I need pills Luke I don't drink. This situations getting sillier by the minute! Perhaps I'd best let my hubby go on his own.

    Sounds like a wonderful holiday![hr]
I hope you havent misunderstood my dire attempt at humour!

    As Barnaby has said,

I bet you will enjoy the flight once you get you get up there. As for fear of heights, I have a fear of heights, but within the safety of the plane, it doesnt feel like you are high up, just like sat on a bus.

Regarding claustrophobia, a transatlantic flight will be in a large plane, and its much more spacious inside than your imagining right now.

No need for booze... or pills... but if you are worrying about it, I have heard that some kind of relaxing meditation music can help before and during the flight. (though I cannot claim to know about this)

    Regards

Greece for 3 weeks where an old friend from the USA who we've not seen for 15 years will be joining us.
Had hoped to be on Cooper Island in the British Virgin Islands this month or next but probs with an elderly relative have scuppered that plan.
And, with a bit of luck we'll get away in our camper van into the wilder parts of Scotland for the odd few days now and then.
