Seedling id please?

Anyone know what this is? It's springing up all through one of my flower beds.

 

Looks like common or garden Ivy to me.

 

That was my first thought too Dai,

See what the next set of leaves look like.

 

I ripped out a wheelie bin full of the stuff today. It`s Ivy alright.

 

How weird! So in theory I could replant it under my chain link fence?

 

It`s not an ornamental Ivy, but if you want to plant it under your fence, feel free. It will however, take over.

 

How has it seeded itself everywhere? Birds?

It`s quite possible birds are to blame.

 

Transplant it to your neighbours stereo speakers, give them a good watering and then a liquid feed, the roots should soon penetrate the sub woofers and give you endless silent pleasure as they entwine their tendrils through their amplifier and cd collection.
