I was given a plant....

I only started gardening last year and was given a variety of plants that didn't get sold at the local Strawberry Fayre. Since I didn't know what they were, I just shoved them in and hoped they would survive.

This plant was tiny, but it's now getting bigger and bigger and I think I may need to move it. But I'd like an idea of what it might be before I do that....can anyone help?

The leaves are quite furry, the new ones especially.

Awww, thanks for the welcome loopy =D Fingers crossed I can get this plant identified...at the moment I call it 'The Triffid' so it'll be nice to call it by name.
