    Mamma Mia,

Thats one extreme to another Maxim. Mind you, it was like winter here till 2 days ago, working in a t shirt today.

There is a cheaper way of building solar panels, but you would still need a good storage tank.

If anyone is interested, I will write an article in a new thread. If they are not, I won't:heehee:

Have a good Birthday Maxim, Clueless & I will be round about 7pm.

    Thank you all !
Digression: in this Forum I am registered as August 4, 1970.
So I am registered as still 40 years old.
Actually I am 41 right today.
Do you know why this misunderstanding ?
    That's soon explained.
Because in Britain, USA, etc. you use to indicate a date as MONTH / DAY / YEAR.
On the other hand, In Italy we use the format DAY / MONTH / YEAR.
    So my 08 / 04 / 1970 (in Italy : April 8, 1970) has been understood as "August 4, 1970".
I will soon correct it in my profile...
    End of digression.
Back to the topic "hot weather condition to stay in one's front yard":
right now, the thermometre in Milan Malpensa Airport is indicating +30 C (+86 Fahrenheit) !
Humidity ranging from 10% to 15%.
    Very, very dry !
    Dew point ranging from +1 C to +3 C.
If you suffer Rheumatism, just come here to care yourself.... hehehehehe :-)
But my poor lawn grass is very thirsty... :-(
That's a Record. In 41 years of age, I don't remember +30 C in Milan in the first April decade.
    I really don't.
Some Meteorologists say that's due to an "air stream" from Equatorial Africa that is descending, from the high altitudes in the sky, at the middle latitudes instead of the north africans latitudes.
Oddly enough, southern Italy that is a little bit northern than North Africa, is experiencing temperatures much cooler than northern Italy.
In Palermo (Sicily) the temperature is hardly topping +20 C .
In Milan, 500 miles norther than Palermo, the temperature is 10 C hotter.
    Sometimes, nature is strange...

Sorry, I forgot the party was on. By the time I get to the airport now (1 hour's drive) and get checked in, and fly over, it will be tomorrow now. I hope you had a good party:)

That doesn't bother me. I once had my holiday in Zante, where the runway was just beyond the beach, so the planes were only about 50ft above the beach as they came in to land. From the beach you could see the passengers excitedly looking out of the windows. No matter how many times I see a 500 tonne tin can managing to stay airborne it still impresses me.

Nearly like in Sint Maarten (Netherland Antilles)...
    That impresses me as well.
It shows what an atmosphere is all about.
In the moon, where there is no atmosphere, that would not be possible.
Although the air is so light, it is defenetely not a vacuum.
When it has a speed, then it has such a strenght / force to lift even 500 tonne...

Over these days I've been processing many ideas in my brain...
I must admit: I am a little slow in understanding and finding solutions.
Today, all of the sudden, a light lit up in my brain:
"sure, plants and tree might be part of the solution !
A thing as much simple as obvious.
    Elementary, my dear Watson!"
Everyone of us knows how sitting in the shadow made up by the trees' foliage of a little wood is pleasing when the sun shines ferocious during a hot summer.
It's a sort of oasis in the middle of a land that really burns up because of the hot weather.
Everyone of you that had an holyday in Spain, Greece, Italy, Portugal, etc., knows what I mean.
So, I would stress this point:
when one decides to place a plant or a tree in his (her) garden, he (or she) should keep in mind that a position so that the tree may create a convenient shadow should be chosen.
Expecially if his (or her) front-yard is facing south and he (or she) lives in a hot country (Italy as well as Spain, Portugal, Greece, as well as Australia and the USA).
