Hello! from sunny Gloucester

    Hello from sunny Gloucester!

    I am brand spanking new to this gardening malarky, and I love it.

    I've had my 'garden' for a year now and I'm totally hooked, although cluless as to what I'm doing!

    I have a plot, a bit like an allotment, that stands on it's own next to a canal, and I spent the first year clearing brambles and weeds.....managed to build a few veggie beds this year and now just waiting for the seeds I've sown to sprout a leaf or 2...

    I have a few soft fruit bushes, various veggies on the way, and I'm a big fan of any perennial flowers, those little blighters just keep coming back! Flowers for the bees and butterflies are also a favourite.

    I also have 2 lovely dogs whose mission in life seems to be wrecking any lawn I plant and pulling labels out of all the pots I sow!

    And this is the first forum I've ever joined, so please forgive me if I get things a bit wrong (took me ages to work out how to post this :-)) )
