    Sum of the butterfly photos I have taken.

    E 2 DSC_0099 is comma. E 2 DSC_0092 is beacock. E 2 DSC_2543 is gatekeeper

    Wow, some really bright vivid colours hugh! Just as I thought... looking at them has taken away this evenings chill :thumbsup:

    Fab photos but the 3rd one is a peacock not a gate keeper
    the second photo id is the gatekeeper I think its just a typo used a B instead of the P

    I know nothing about butterflies.. so forgive me for shoving my nose in, but what is this:

    It looks remarkably similar to photo 3, but I've always known them as Red Admirals?

    Go easy... im learning :D

    its a peacock you do get males and females

    Red admirals have more black on the wings

    Im learning so am I :D:D just so many and dont put a moth pictue on :D

    you are correct Spruce, my apologise the number relate to photo taken not in order of upload
    I thought by placing the curser on the photo would show up photo number
    will try different next time

    stated to photograph butterflies I posted to ID a butterfly that was a moth :rofl:
