I found this little bit of advice in a magazine:

To be happy for a year get a pet
To be happy for a decade get married
To be happy all your life get a garden

    - but then all GC members know that don't they?

    I've done [a]

I've done - but lost the love of my life to Motor Neurone Disease 10 years ago.

    I'm doing [c]

I guess I'll have to settle for 2 out of 3.

You and the others are always welcome :dbgrtmb:

Talking of which, my tea bushes utterly failed to germinate.

Anyone know if I can get plants ready grown ? Wots it called again ? Camilia Sinensis or something similar.

We have one of those in our garden! The tea bags land in the bush when I throw out the last bit of drink from my cup :heehee:

Ahhh Armandii, I was taken aback when I read that you have lost your (I presume) wife to this dreadful disease.

I lost my dad through motor neurone many years ago, I was just 21 years old and had - had his first granchild just 4 weeks earlier. I was so glad he saw her even though he couldn't hold her.

My emotions have come to the surface now thinking about it, and my heart goes out to you.

Chin up! Back to the gardening...........keep smiling. :):)

Yes, 2 out of 3 for me as well Armandii but I have my dogs, my garden and my health and feel lucky for that, I have also found this lovely forum and all the folk on it.
