Can anyone ID this for me?

    Problem is, it is near the bird feeders, so could be a stray item! But I have planted a lot of summer bulbs and I can't remember where I put them. :doh:

    It looks more like bulb than rogue seedling.. I'd leave it and see!

    Can you remember what bulbs you planted?

    It's growth looks too small for this time of year to be an allium.

    Aster novi-belgii ? Sort of tuber like. I remember planting something on a hurry as it started to rain at Easter but I cannot remember where I put them. I planted allium ostrowskianum, freesias and some iris, but that's the only types in that bed.

    Could it be asters? I can't find any pics of newly emerging growth on google, and I was handed them in a hurry and instructed to plant them by my mother in law - wish I could remember where!
