    Good afternoon everyone,

    I am here, just,:D

    I have been up since five but have been busy preparing runner beans for freezing while Mr K got his Williams pears done as they don't keep long so have to get them cut up and bagged ready for freezing quiet quickly and then have been shopping and after calling in a shop spotted an iron that I have been after for some time that had been reduced from £159.99 down to £89.99 so quickly twisted Mr Kandys arm behind his back until he finally gave in and let me have it:D{By the way,my other one is on it's last legs but was hoping it would last a bit longer but couldn't resist this one as it was the last one in the shop,sad aren't I?:yahoo:}

Also my cheapo Stephanotis plant that I bougt reduced from Tesco's two years ago for the knock down price of 60p I think it was has finally flowered so my sun room is full of beautiful scent and I am so happy that I have at last got one to flower let alone live:heehee:

Hope you all well and have a good day and hopefully I will despite the cool weather and the breezy conditions:loll:

Good morning Kandy, our one guest and everyone else who follows on later:D

It is 4.53am and guess who couldn't sleep again so thought i might as well get up and make a start on the runner beans I picked yesterday, then have veggies to prepare for todays din dins to go with the chook we are having, then have two baskets full of clothes that need the creases taken out of them, plus have emails to write so looks like that little lot will take up a good part of the day,oh plus have the lawns to mow and the edges to sort out hopefully before the rain starts that is forecast:D

If Mr K gets time I will get him to put the piccys on the puter that i took yesterday of the giant carrot he pulled up yesterday so you can all see the size of it:rolleyespink:

See you all later when it gets light and hope you all have a good Sunday:)

    Good morning everyone,

Yesterday got a little bit too hot for doing much in the garden but I got some bits and pieces done - yes, I know I said I wasn't going to do anything!!

Kandy, £70 discount on an iron is a good price but I think our iron cost £11 :rolleyespink:.
I'm not sure I really want to have a look at a picture of Mr K pulling his big carrot!! :heehee: :loll: :loll:

They've forecast that the rain will start here at 8 a.m. and it's looking as though they may be right for a change.

Some of our runner bean plants have been having a bit of a problem. The beans have all shrivelled but the leaves are looking really healthy. So yesterday I pulled up a dozen plants and replaced them with a late french bean called pongo. We had planted the pongo in pots a few weeks ago and they are now about 6" high. They are supposed to take 6 weeks from planting to giving beans so we shall see.

All of you take care of yourselves :dbgrtmb:

    Have a great day :D

Good morning Kandy, Shiney & Louise,
Rain is forecast today but I think it is expected after 10am, Mr L is always checking the aviation forecast which is usually accurate.

Kandy sorry to hear you aren't sleeping well; it puts me out for days if I have a bad night. Hope you have a better one tonight.

Have a good Sunday everyone. :happydance:

      Good morning Woo and everyone,

Lovely to see you again Woo and hope that you are keeping well and feeling better:):sunny:

Thanks Moyra,we are doing well this year in most of the fruit and veggies but it does take time preparing them for freezing but at least with the prices of food stuff going up we are saving a few pennies:DHope you and Amber are ok and that you are both enjoying each others company and companionship:thumbsup:

Cloudy here this morning and looks like we shall get some more rain.

      Have a good day everyone:)

      Hello Everyone,

Kandy, Amber is growing so fast it is unbelievable. She is four months old already. Back to the vets on thursday for her check up and flea and worm treatment. She is a real Sweetheart.

I am off to the hospital tomorrow, got a call back on my mammogram, just hoping it is a false alarm as I have already been told my kidneys have deteriorated and I have to have an ultrasound scan on them so hopefully it wont entail an ultrasound scan on my boobies tomorrow but I have been told to allow up to 2½ hours for the consultation!

I hope things are ok with you and Mr K. Don't like this weather much! Nothing like walking Amber in the wind and rain.

      Have a good day all.
