    Hi everyone
Have quite a few hanging baskets to make up and although i have been a keen amateur for many years, would like if i could get a few ideas for the centre of 14inch baskets, get a bit fed up with the usual geraniums, fuchsias, etc.
    thanks

Tuberous begonias are the favorites round here. They give a spectacular display all summer long.

Hi Endeavour i have about 20 hanging Baskets and about 20 various plant containers .
for the past 4 years i have planted the old Favourite Petunia. i purchased from b@q a Petunia called (Frenzy Moonshine Mix) and the results have been fantastic. Profuse Brightly Coloured flowers all summer in the baskets and containers. this Petunia grows about 8- 10 inch height
and spreads around 12 inch , so you dont require too many plants in the one basket as your baskets are 14 inch. i plant 2 plants in each basket and when they are in full bloom they look outstanding. the only problem, do you have an outside connection for a water hose because it takes me hours to water with a garden hose .i would not attempt watering with a watering can
    with all these containers. music.

I am in leith and although have had a fair amount of sun its usually a cold wind from the sea thats the killer, funnily enough i have just been looking online at million bells and quite fancy ordering enough for one of my baskets so it will either be a disaster or a great success.
