Afternoon all, my hyacinths have finally finished flowering and I was wondering what I need to do with them so that I can replant them again next year?

Do I assume your hyacinths have been in pots ?
If so you could leave them in the pots (outside is fine ) keep watered and give them a couple of liqiud feeds which will help biuld up the bulb ..They will die down naturally then you can replant outside in the autumn .If you have quite a few pots you can pop them in the ground to die down then dig them out once they have died down and plant as required .Bare in mind bulbs that have been forced indoors take a couple of years to biuld up flower size. but are still useful in the garden .

I usually just plant potted hyacinths out into the garden to flower next year.

The trick is to plant much deeper than they are in the pot.

I do the same with Daffs

I would leave them be . Take of dead flower heads and let flowers die down naturally .
It does pay to plant outdoor bulbs quite deep then you can over plant in summer if you need to .

    Hello Friends.
Excuse me if I'm fugitive, but in these days I am waiting for that blossom my beautiful flower: my daughter!
The flower of the hyacinths must be cut, otherwise embezzles nutriment to the bulb. you cut the flower, but not the leaves!
you continues to give water till when the leaves dryed all.
Now put out from the ground, detaches the " sons" that are borns, and plants in ground these last ones.
Put the big bulb in a box full it of sawdust, in a darkness place.
you will plant it next autumn!

I hope that despite my English I've help you!:WINK1::WINK1::WINK1::WINK1:
