Thank you, and a very happy St. George's Day to you and anyone else dropping in.

I actually received a St. George's Day card (from my Uncle born on this day and, surprisingly called errr, George? :heehee:). Naturally, it was homemade, since you'd be hard-pressed to find one in a shop - although of course, you couldn't move in my corner of Kent back in March for St. Patrick's Day cards (do we have a particularly large population of Irish ex-pats? I think not!).

Anyway, we live almost opposite St. George's Church where, this morning, they rang the bells for just over an hour (as they do every St. George's Day), and having rung the bells for a wedding earlier this afternoon, they'll be repeating their hour long stint again this evening - no chance of us not knowing what day it is!!

Thanks Ziggy. We're really fortunate, as they come up in the garden. We normally get lots, but this year just a couple, because of the dry conditions.

They were yummy last night!! :D
