A few days ago I bought a grape vine from the retailer Wilkinsons, it’s not very big and has a few leafs on it, cost me £5. When I returned home I inspected it and found balls around the same size as pin heads, sort of like o2 bubbles, white, transparent, on the stems. I have no idea what this could be and fear that it’s some kind of bug eggs?!!?! Please help

Sorry I could only get some photo's on a web came so it looks bad... my digital camera has run out of battery ahh. Taking a second look at it, I would compare it to grains of sugar.
