    Hi,

I have an Azalea japonica and some liliies growing in pots. Is it okay to re-plant them in beds now or am I too late? The azelea is now flowering.

    Thank you

    Anita

Azalea needs an acid soil, do you have that sort of soil? (Do other Azaleas, Rhododendrons etc grow in gardens near you?)

Other than that, planting out from pots is OK, but try to avoid disturbing the roots as you knock them out of the pots, and keep them well watered until they are established.

Thank you Kristen! I will check out the soil and plant the azelea.
My husband has just done the decking and wants me to sort (clear) out my potted plants! :o(
