Pruned Pampas Grass

    Got home to find my husband has cut right back the pampas grass. I think he might have killed it's too late to prune. Do you agree with me or there is hope?
    If it survives, how long will it take to grow its leaves back?

    You can't kill it that way.

    The leaves 'll grow back: how quickly depends on rainfall and the richness of the soil.

      Its grass, and you cant kill grass by cutting it, otherwise we would not have lawns.:)

        No worries ,the grass will be back ,may not have the tattie bits (flowers) this year though . They are indestructable lol . Had run ins with two in the past .
