I've been looking for a forum where I can ask questions about general gardening, and this looks like the place to be. :)

I'm slowly making a plants-veg-containers-climbers type garden from a tiny typical lawn-path-shed garden. I have big plans for my small space so I think I'll be needing some good advice on how to do it.

Hi, Wiseoldowl. You sound like a man to know when information is needed. :)

Hi, Robert of York. I have a confession. I only moved to Yorkshire a couple of years ago. I'm originally from just north of London. Don't hold that against me though. My other half is Yorkshire born and bred, and is teaching me the ways of the Tyke. :D

Hi Lad. I'm on clay too. Keeps you fit when you are digging it.

Hi, Dai, Daisees, Armandii, and JWK.

    Thanks for the welcome, all.

I've just started making use of the site with a few plants for ID. How useful is that section. I like it here already. :D
