YEEESSSSSS, we had some proper rain! It's not forecast to last long but after less than 5mm, yes 5mm, over the last 3 months, I'll happily take all I can get. Heavy showers throughout the day helped by the fact I gave the garden a good soaking last night so most of the rainfall has gone where needed, to the plants! I'm happy and my plants are happy, enough said :D

. Gloucester had heavy rain, sunny Quedgeley no! The soil in my plot is dust! Blooming very strong winds though, which I hate! Cheers!
Nothing more than passing, but heavy showers here in Derbyshire; they've had little effect on the bone dry soil though. The sun when it was out was very warm; I too though am getting fed up with these winds....:wallbang:
It's been raining here for nearly two weeks now and blowing a hooley for three. We've had a force 8 blowing here since lunchtime and I've had enough, time for some, no a lot of sunshine please!
