How come posts are back to front?

So when a new post is made and then 30 posts follow, the 1st post goes to the bottom of the last page? (page 3, for example) & is there any way of changing this so the top of page 1 is the 1st post?

I too think it is strange. I am a member of an engineering forum where you ask a question & the replies are posted below,so you can skim across & decide which you want to read.

It's the way the forum software has been set up by the Admin, it's the default setting for forum, I joined the other day and it was pre set to this. I have tried the other settings but it still wont change.

Just click "switch to hybrid" mode on the "Display mode" toolbar and it will put them in the correct order. then ignore the box at the top !


Or the proper way is click "user CP" then click "edit options" then in the THREAD DISPLAY OPTIONS, use the drop down box and select "Linear-OLDEST FIRST"

Then click "Save Changes" at the bottom, this will reset the display for you so the messages are in the correct order !
