unknown seed

    Hi, i have just found a shoot in the garden. Looks like it is from a seed, but i dont know what it is.
    This is a picture of the seedling. I have brought it in for now as im re-turning the garden.

    Might be sycamore. The seeds get everywhere!

    Could be a sunflower. Do you grow them, or feed the birds with seeds?

    no i dont grow sunflower of feed birds with them bet the neighbour feeds birds

    Those are just seed leaves Saintpeter so it's not possible to identify the plant from the leaves.
    When the true leaves appear you might recognise it, but if not, pop another pic on and we'll have a look.

    Oh i know that i just thought someone might recognise it from that and the claw like true leaves emerging from within.

    I thought they were Lupin seeds at first but the inside isnt the same.

    It is very early to say, and once the true leaves unfold it might be a bit easier, my guess at this stage would be apple, but its a wild guess:D
