Hello & welcome to GC trevnanita!

Thats a good size veg patch, grow a succession of salad leaves, carrots, peas (especially mangetout) and tomatoes - all of these can be eaten raw straight away which kids love. Runner Beans are very rewarding and onions sets are very easy, I'd also recommend courgettes and their close relative pumpkins for the kids interest. Not sure of your location but Easter is the traditional time for planting new potatoes, again very easy and rewarding.

I've done many with my little ones, mainly from pots: French and runner beans, tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, potatoes, cucumber, courgette, carrot, sweetcorn, stawberries and onions, to name but a few. Watch out for the cabbage white on those sprouts though.

I'm new here too, so I'm sure we'll see more of eachother.
