Name that bush? And this flower?

    Not much I can tell you about it , It's a bush and it's growing in my garden. Can anyone put a name to this bush please?

    This lovely flower looked like grass at first, it's growing from a bulb. Can anyone tell me the name of it please?

    The flower looks like Angels fishing rods ( Dierama Pulcherrimum)

    The Shrub could be Chaenomeles....also known as Flowering Quince :thumb:

    Thanks Spruce but i think the Gladiolus is a closer match. All I need now is an ID on the bush and Bobs my uncle.

    think the bush might be chaenomeles - japanese flowering quince...

    Thanks Bilbo , I've never seen it flower so cant be sure but I shall google it and see if I can find a photo that matches.

    That looks very similar, I didnt notice it flowering in early spring though. Thats not to say it didnt , just that I didnt notice it.
