    Heya all,

Just wanted to let you all know about my good news (after 10 months) I have finally secured a job for me and Paul to move from Liverpool down to Coventry!!!!!

Over the last few months I've had quite a few interviews but I was always second best and with my interview last week I decided I'd had enough of that, I really liked the place where my interview was so I went into it full of confidence (amongst with a few nerves) and gave some really good answers, and the following morning I was offered the job :yho:

It's more money than what I'm on at the moment, theres a chance for promotion (which I don't have where I am now) and I can't wait to move to Coventry, out from under Pauls dads feet up here in Liverpool, all that freedom and somewhere where we can relax and be ourselves :D

Off to work now, I'm waiting until next week I think to hand my notice in so I get my continuous service (as I'm going from Knowsley Council to Warwickshire County Council) as I'm looking to start my new job on May 17th, so not long left :D

Just got the huge task now of going through all my junk (I'm somewhat of a hoarder...) so for the next few weeks I'll be going through it of an evening, fun...

Will keep you all posted about our progress and how our new adventure goes :yho:

    Hugs,

    Jen

    Heya all,

Just to let you all know, today is the day of our move, it started yesterday as after Paul had picked the vanup, he tookone load of stuff down there on his own (I was in work...) so today we've just got to take the wardrobes and a load of stuff his dad got down from the loft today. Oh and we're also hoping to fit the rockery rocks in there somewhere (they are currently making his dads newly built garage look 'untidy' and are 'taking up room' - funny really as his dad doesn't even go in the garage but nevermind)

I have been waiting for this day in such a long time and I think now is definitely the right time to go as his dad has recently started another episode of his PMT and I think he would be looking for a fight if it weren't for the fact we're moving. Its just a shame we've got to come back up here tomorrow evening (Sunday) so I can finish work on Tuesday, but we've only got a few more days to 'try to be nice' - I know Paul wants to say things as he has heard his dad and his new 'girlfriend' bitching about him over the phone saying he's useless, hasn't done much recently and just sits on his a**e - I don't think his dad realises exactly how much stuff we've got (we mastered the 'art of cram' in this room, stuff everywhere out of sight) and when Paul got back from Coventry last night (10 minutes before we were due to go out for my works leaving night out) his dad was complaining about how long he took (his dad doesn't drive, so clearly doesn't know the 100 miles takes more than 1.5 hours to drive, especially on a Friday night-last weekend it took us 3.5 hours) so I decided to stick up for Paul and didn't let him get away with his snide remarks hehehehe

Anyway, moving on, this morning is a mix of emotions really, excitement and a few nerves, I really just want the van packed, I'm nowhere near strong enough to help Paul load the wardrobes into the van so we need to keep his dad sweet just for this morning

I've woken up way over an hour before my alarm is due to go off but I might actually get up soon and make a start packing my last few bitsand pieces up :yho:

Will speak to you later and let you know how it went :)

    Hugs,

    Jen

Well done :yho: :yho: :yho: :yho:

If your father-in-law doesn't drive, does that mean he won't be able to come and visit you? :hehe: :hehe:
