Hornbeam birch

    I have a 8meter high Hornbeam Birch, All the leaves have gone brown and appered to have died off, Is this because off the extream cold weather we had or something more serious, Are the trees more prone to this happening than other varitys

    Not heard of a "Hornbeam Birch" - can you clarify what that is please?

    Hi johnson1967

    As Kristen said I think you'll need to identify which tree genus and species you're referring to, as I don't think there's such a thing as a hornbeam birch. Dying leaves can mean many things, so if you could post up a few pictures of the tree that may help in correctly identifying the problem.

    Good evening Johnson 1967 and welcome to the site.:dbgrtmb: The plant is either Birch ( Betula ) or Hornbeam ( Carpinus ) it can`t be both. :dbgrtmb:
