      Hello amandapooh and welcome to GC.

      Your little flower rather resembles the vetch/lathyrus/sweetpea family.

      Hopefully someone else will come along and advise further.

        Sorry Victoria, don't think it's lathyrus, they have strap like leaves. But I can't come up with anything else at the moment, sorry amandapooh. :)

          I like that part in the link where it says 'the flowers are used to make a yellow dye for wool'.

          How strange Marley ... I did not see Zig's post and actually said to t'other half about it and it was not there, looked several times .. now it is ... must be third-world Portugal ... :scratch:

          Lovely wildflower however that I would like here ... :yess:

            I'm starting to see a pattern as to why its doing it. Only does a few, not all of them. It doesn't seem to like first posts with pictures attached.

            It is a lovely one.. I am getting quite a nice collection of wild-flowers together now.. If you can remind me I will collect some seeds & post them over.. I think I would give it a couple of weeks yet though.. :thumbsup:
