Silver Surfers!

I heard on the radio today that more and more people over the age of 75 years are getting the computer/surfing bug. They are being called Silver Surfers, I presume that title is to do with hair colour.

I'm in my late 50's and I hope I've still got enough brain left at 75 to carry on with my meagre, present computer skills. Learning new things is great, but it's brain retention I've got problems with. I'm fast filling a notepad with 'how-to-do's' on the computer, I just hope I remember where I keep it!

Oh I seeee, I remember the Goon show, but back then didn't understand it. Obviously still don't. :DOH:I remember our first tv aswell, just, the screen was only nine inches..........probably saw the goons on that!

 

Sheal, if you're in you're late fifties, by the time you are 75, you will need a whole new set of computer skills, so your 'how to' notepad will be redundant. I still have my old 'how to' notpad as a keepsake

 

My very good friend and neighbour bought himself a laptop and a digital camera. He's 82 and getting on fine with them.
