KE are main crop..so 16 weeks?

Planted 20th April till now gives around 9 weeks....so the question is do you lift after flowering, or when the haulms are dieing back?

I think I may have some rogue Edwards, Pipers, Queens, Desiree growing in my brassica bed this year! (I should have gone to specsavers before digging out the tatties last year?)

I'm just gonna let them do their own thing, I will dig them out once all the cauli and cabbage have done their bit, they don't seem to to mind some unorthodox "companion" planting, had some really nice cabbages and the caulis will be ready in a week or so.

I'll pull the spuds once the foliage has died back, all maincrop varieties, not grown from "seed" stock, so will benefit from extended time in the earth.......... Maincrops should be left in the soil 2 weeks after the haulms have died to let the skin "set"
