Can anyone please tell me if these are perennial or not, I seem to have so many conflicting information and it didn't say on the seed packet??

The leaves don't look like perennial phlox. If you grew them from seed this year I would think they must be annuals; perennials would't look so luxuriant in their first year!

Ok thanks for the info, I don't suppose anyone has a perennial phlox that sets seed who would be willing to collect some for me, it seems to be very hard to get hold of seed for perennial phlox, none of the seed company's seem to list it. Maybe it doesn't germinate well but I would like to try it. I could swap for something I have. Is there a seed/plant swapping thread somewhere, if not it strikes me as a good idea.

I've got some cuttings on the go at the moment - I didn't collect any seed though. You are welcome to some cuttings if you want! Whereabouts are you?

Not sure of the name but its a deep blue/purple flower.

We're down in Somerset, cuttings would be great but it's a long way to travel, lol.

Thank you kindly for the offer.

I'll try to remember to collect some seed - I've got several named varieties of phlox and you're welcome to seed from them.
And a seed/plant swapping site would be a good idea, I agree.

Umm - that's a bit far for some cuttings :-) No worries, I'll try to get some seed as well.
