      Google 'solarisation (+ solarization) weed control' for a useful, organic method of killing weeds (but not in lawns).

          Zig,all joking aside, remove the damaged grass, add some fresh topsoil, and reseed. If you are seen to be repairing the damage you should be fine.:thumbsup:

          lmao, I did this^^^/that:heehee: but I'm calling you out on it? my mate knew I wanted old glass for the garden, he dropped some over (well put it down on the grass not "dropped") but anyway it burnt my lawn at about 36 hrs,but nothing this bad:OUCH: you've left your glass there for DAYS!!! own up how long ziggy:loll:

          As Dai said its amazing how the grass died and the weeds survived . Reseeding needed I think Ziggy , you can tell sis its a geometric dogs pee burn :D

            About 30 minutes, as long as it took to weed the cloche:DOH: Then the glass went straight back on. I'm growing some tropical beans that tend to die if exposed to any British weather.

              Yoiks! Only 30 minutes to do that damage! I reckon you've just fried off the leaves, it will re-grow from the roots if you give it plenty of water.
