    Hi,
I have a purple flowering lavetera in my garden.
After the flowers die it produces what I think are seed
Pods underneath them but I'm not sure I broke one
Open and it looked kinda like seeds in a flying saucer
Formation. When would the best time to harvest the
Seeds be if that's what they are? Any advice would
    Be much appreciated thanks. Mark

[IMG] Hydrogen.. I have sown them very successfully.. I left them on the plant until the pods were brown then picked them & left them to dry in envelopes.. They are very easy.. You can sow then any time from March to May really.. You can sow them in situ & thin to 4" apart or sow in pots or seed trays.. If pots put in a few & thin to the strongest.. Hope that helps.. :dbgrtmb:

Lavetera grows very easily from cuttings
No need to wait for seedlings :) .......

With Laveteria i just cut off a straight branch, take off the leaves for about 12" and push into the soil in my Nursery bed.
Cut off the flowering top and take off any flower heads.
It roots easily and the following year just dig up and replant where you want it.
