Hi Guys been at it all day today and have finished bed 2
I have lined it with membrane to keep out nasties and gone 450mm deep so my worms don't freeze (i have to stock the beds with worms as they can't get in. I hope the lining will help with water retention as well.
Hope this isn't over the top as I am hoping this will make it easier for my wife and self to grow veg when we retire (I'm 59 in August).
Glad to hear your views on this project.
    Cheers.

Looking good to me too.. :what: Have you put the cardboard tube in there to help with moisture retention in some way or what..? It is good to be able to think of future gardening now too.. I just don't want to change my garden, but I know I will at some point soon as some things are getting hard to do now...

Thankyou all for your encouraging comments, the tube was the roll the membrane was on and left it in to compost so no special use I'm afraid.
